Frame Options for Nardurna Prints

All frames are proudly made in Queensland by Left Bank Art Group, ensuring the highest quality craftsmanship for your artwork. Below are the two premium framing styles available, depending on whether your piece is a canvas or a paper print.

Float Framed Canvas (Canvas Prints Only)

Our Float Framed Canvas offers a sleek, contemporary finish that beautifully highlights your artwork. This style creates a subtle shadow line between the canvas and frame, giving the piece depth and breathing room.

The frame’s face is 10mm wide and 55mm deep, with a 5mm gap between the canvas and the frame edge. Timber is locally sourced from FSC-certified suppliers.

Available Finishes (Tasmanian Oak):
– Raw
– Black
– White

Shadow Box Frame (Paper Prints Only)

Our Shadow Box Frame pushes the artwork to the back of the frame while keeping the glazing at the front, creating a dimensional, gallery-style presentation. This modern approach adds a refined, structured feel to your print.

The frame measures 2cm wide and 4cm deep, offering a minimalist but elevated profile that suits a range of interiors.

Available Finishes:
– Tasmanian Oak RAW
– White Matte
– Black Matte

Glazing Material:
All drop-shipped framed prints are glazed with durable, lightweight acrylic instead of glass. Acrylic provides excellent UV protection, is shatter-resistant, and is fully recyclable — making it a safer, more sustainable option for your home and the environment.

The story of my artwork

It’s coming into the wet season at home, its called the build-up. I hope we get a good lot of water to wash away the dust, fill the waterholes, rivers and creeks, Country needs to have its fill of freshwater. We go fishing to catch barra in the McArthur River and make sure we have a good supply of food, when the rain comes, Borroloola and all the surrounding stations get cut off. We all make sure everyone in the community has food and fresh water. When the rain comes it floods and the crocodiles move, they sometimes go into freshwater rivers and creeks, there isnt a lot of swimming going on, but one day mum, dad and one of my grannies took us for a drive to a place where the water was running over the road; it was car tyre deep there was fish trying to swim against the current and little crabs which I thought was weird cause we were a long way from the ocean. We went swimming here, we were safe.
