The story of my artwork

This artwork is about searching for turtles with family, when we go looking for long neck turtles there is usually a whole bunch of us, we all jump into the back of the troopie and head for an almost dried-up lagoon.

Once there, we explore the area, looking for little divots in the ground, and then we poke these divots with metal rods in search of the tell-tale thud of a turtle's shell.

These are one of my and my granny's favourite foods.

The blue water in this piece is slowly disappearing over the top of the canvas as I sit with family.

The artwork packaging comes with an explanation of the symbols used and the story it tells.

With Family

I really made a connection with this piece as I too, love to spend time exploring places with my family. I love the colours and the artists statement describing the piece including what each of the symbols represent. Thank you

Beautiful vibrant colour with story

I purchased this print for my young daughter. We picked it together for it’s vibrant colours and the story. A beautiful quality of print, packed and delivered with care together with the story and explanation of symbols – which I really appreciate. My daughter has learnt the story and symbols by heart and we both love it!
