This is a story of a home being created, becoming a strong household and a mother and daughter who make it a home. The home is surrounded by Coolamons a Nulla-Nulla and a Digging stick. Some Coolamons have medicine, some have food, some are specially painted for ceremony and others are empty as a symbol for room to grow. The Digging stick is there as a symbol to keep digging away at your goal and the Nulla-Nulla is a symbol of strength and never giving up.

The colours used in this piece bring love, wisdom, confidence and growth.

Yes, my name is Ryhia Dank. I come from the remote community of Borroloola in the Northern Territory. As a Gudanji/Wakaja woman, I share the stories from my Country through my art.
