Nardurna made this beautiful artwork for me last year. It is my favourite piece in my art collection. The process commissioning the artwork with the artist was brilliant, We went over my favourite colours, landmarks and the story of my family. The final work meant so much to me and my family and was so special. It was more than I could have imagined or asked for. My work came with a story and symbol card which I keep with the work for people to read when they come over and see it. Yes, my name is Ryhia Dank. I come from the remote community of Borroloola in the Northern Territory. As a Gudanji/Wakaja woman, I share the stories from my Country through my art.
