In 2022, I created the Regenerate artworks as a continuation of my popular Burn Off series. I wanted to show the different stages of weather on Country in the Northern Territory, specifically on my place in the Barkly Tablelands.

The Story

This artwork is of our Country after burning off. The extreme heat has cleared overgrown grass and brush and allows seeds to germinate, creating new life and growth. This process is crucial for Country, an annual cycle that has provided our animal companions and us with fresh grass, vegetables, nuts and fruits for tens of thousands of years.

Measuring 84 cm x 119 cm, this acrylic-on-canvas piece is hand-framed in an FSC-certified Tasmanian oak frame in Queensland and comes ready to be hung on your wall.
