The First Commissions

Did you know commissions fueled the start of nardurna? It all began when I sold my very first commissioned artwork. Within the first week of sharing my designs, I had already booked four or five commissions—something I never imagined would happen so quickly.

These early commissions were a turning point. Not only did they give me the confidence to keep creating, but they also provided the financial support to invest in my own work. This allowed me to paint my first originals, which later became my first artworks for sale. Soon after, those originals inspired my first reproduction prints—but that’s a story for another time.

It’s incredible to look back and see how these initial commissions shaped what nardurna would become. They were more than just artwork requests—they were the foundation of something much bigger.
