This artwork explores memories, some sharply recalled as if occurring only yesterday, and others fading with time. On each side is a representation of the two worlds in which I resided during my formative years: an upbringing on the Gold Coast of Queensland with my father's family, and another on the Barkly Tablelands of the Northern Territory with my mum’s family, both experiences imbued with love, sorrow, knowledge, and growth.
Measuring 91 cm x 122 cm, this acrylic-on-canvas piece is hand-framed in a black timber frame in Queensland and comes ready to be hung on your wall.
